Overall, I’m very happy with the Academic Agenda. I still want to access all of its features, and as I figure out how to use them all, I hope one finds this review helpful. I like the undated pages, certainly, those are very helpful. I also like the weekly pages, and the subject plan. As I’m in the dissertation writing stage, I mostly use the Subject section and Assignment section for personal research projects outside of my current daily grind. I really enjoy the vocabulary section, that’s very useful and I like that. I do wish there were additional books one could buy, say, a library list. I generally devote a section of my To-Do notebooks to books I’m interested in, and if Aesthetic Desk ever considers expanding their line to include smaller notebooks purely for keeping track of library books, I’d buy it. It seems silly, but having a dedicated space for interesting books is really helpful. Having a notebook full of them now, I can just flip through it when writing. So that’s an additional item to consider.
I like the uncluttered focus of the book, and it’s really helped separate the academic from the everyday. I like the details and all the space it gives. I also enjoy the motivational messages.
All you really need to plan successfully an academic year or your daily business routine, without forgetting your personal and family tasks and celebrations. Not simply a planner, a tool that helps you making life easier through writing but also enjoying your favorites by putting memories, results, hobbies and motivation all in one place! Highly recommended not only for the templates but also for the external aesthetic, thanks to carefully selected materials of the planner and sophisticated colors.
